I can push the slide up and down by hand and there's no wobble or misalignment. Top mount on the ball screw is sized and tapped for a NEMA 23 motor which mounts on easily. I put a 1.5 kw spindle on it so it's off balance and front heavy but is still solid and moves easily. Lots of mounting holes are pre-drilled making things easy to mount. Very happy with this and it arrived in a couple weeks like expected. Would be cheaper to make one myself but for the convenience and quality I'm happy with it. There are a couple dents and marks but nothing bad and nothing that would affect performance. ### ⭐⭐ Good design, poor build quality *by Z***Z on Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2020* I ordered 2 of these for a horizontal microscopy stage, a 100mm and 200mm. The 100mm stage arrived with significant resistance at the shaft. I traced it back to an excessively tight coupling of the bearings to the rails.The 200mm stage arrived in extremely poor shape with numerous scratches and obviously misaligned rail bases, looking as if it was built from scrap parts. The base had very poorly drilled holes, with one of the mounting holes being a 2:1 oval.In summary, these stages are partially functional, have a simple, practical and functional design, and an extremely poor build quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Seems to be a nicely machined piece - no slop and fits a nema 23 stepper perfectly. *by D***G on Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2019* Nice machining on this slide, I am adding a spindle to it and using for my Z axis on my DIY CNC mill.
