I had to replace mine as it stops being effictive after 5 years as will the new one. It was a perfect fit replacement! **Q: Can I mount this rotated 90 degrees?** A: Yes you can mount in a rotated position. The mount allows the monitor to slide into place so you need room for the to work. Additionally, these require at 60 month replacement. The one I purchased lasted 12 months before it was beeping. Don't expect to get 60 months out of your purchase. **Q: Can this unit replace model 25-741 ?** A: It might plug in with the same connector, but model 25-741 is also for carbon monoxide and the 20-441 only detects propane.
