Great product for a low price
Fairly easy to assemble and quality is good. I'm storing a large LP collection and am happy with the product and how well it works for my application.

we are not happ
The bookcase came in 2 boxes heavily covered with fragile tape. We were unable to assemble it until 37 days after it arrived and when the cartons were opened there was severe damage. Since there is a 30 day window for replacement we are out of luck. Buyers beware!!!!

Good for board games
Works great for board games. Easy enough to install with two people. Seems sturdy.

Genuine Ikea Kallax
This is a review for the 12-block Kallax. When we ordered similar (Better Homes & Gardens), a different vendor didn't ship, so we coughed up the extra $ for this and it was worth it. It was shipped and delivered on time and was well protected - a genuine Ikea Kallax. There was a tiny bit of damage, as expected in shipping, but it wasn't noticeable on the final product and didn't alter the structure.Very sturdy, it even came with earthquake bolt hardware to brace it against the wall. We had previously purchased accessories for the BHG version, and they're just a tiny bit too small, but the boxes are fine. Very happy with this purchase and the vendor.

Sent back twice
I received a broken set the first time. The replacement had no hardware to put the shelves todether. I sent the shelf back weeks ago and have yet to receive my refund. Shameful!

I love these shelves. For some reason Amazon is charging more then twice the price from what IKEA actually charges. Shop smart people.
