It's not too big on my desk, while at the same time it is packed with features. If you do order it, I highly recommend reading the manual and keeping it nearby if you are not well versed in this type of calculator. It has so many useful functions that are easily overlooked if you don't take time to familiarize myself. I find myself referring to my manual for brushing up when I forget what a function does. I've also found the printing to be quick, crisp, and clear. I would definitely recommend this calculator to others.

No more turning on and off to save electricity when I leave my office for a period of time. You just tap one key and it turns right back on. The keys are a bit more loose but I'm already used to it. It would be nice if it remembered your number when it goes to power saver and you turn it back on, but no big deal.

A: I’m not seeing any place for batteries, so I would say no.

A: It does make some noise, but is far quieter than any other one I've seen.

A: Most of the buttons are self explanatory.

A: I order the Dataproducts one. It's number R3027-2. It's come in a two pack. It will say Compatible universal calculator spool.

I love the Casio black adding machine I purchased! It is a nice size. I am used to an office calculator so I didn't want anything small and flimsy. This machine stays put on my desk and is very attractive and easy to use. I am retired now from bookkeeping job but when you are used to quality then you want quality now. It is easy for me to use to balance my checkbook and do any other figuring with. I would definitively recommend this machine!!
