I ordered bigger that my size per the other reviews. That way I can wear thick socks in the boots. I have had many complements. The boots are comfortable and well made. I liked them so much that I ordered the same boots in blue. The blue boots arrived with the toe of one boot pushed in. They are shipped in a bag, so I think it got a little crushed in shipping. I pushed the toe out from the inside and it looks fairly ok. The only problem is there was a scuff mark on the boot which I believe must have been there right out of the box, because I noticed it this morning when I wore them for the first time.
