A: No.  But it had the opposite on me. It kept me up instead of helping me sleep. I ended up throwing mine out.

**Q: Why the added synthetic vitamin d?**
A: The vitamin D3 is derived from lanolin and is not synthetic. As a company that specializes in hypoallergenic formulas, Pure Encapsulations often chooses to use synthetically derived ingredients if they can be made to be bio-identical (acting in the body identically to naturally derived compounds).
