They come up about two-three inches past the elbow and do slip down, unfortunately. (I am thinking of modifying mine by adding a mitten clip which will secure them to any shirt I am wearing, thus eliminating slippage)I was hoping for some thing a bit longer but they will do wonderfully wearing with normal sleeved t-shirts. Right now my work shirts are a bit short sleeved but the gloves are enough to cover where the sun hits my arms while driving. The palm sides of the gloves give firm grip-ability to the steering wheel and yes, you can use a touch screen device while wearing them. The little bow at the top gives it a sweet, feminine touch.
