I settled on this one because of the reviews and photos that discussed FIT. My ten year old can wear a children's 10/12 or a 14/16, depending on the company/stretch of material/cut of outfit/etc. She struggles a little with her mid-section, so honestly, the reviews that mentioned that the waist ran big were a relief. However, the dressing room is very upsetting for her, and I REALLY didn't want to pull this one out of the packaging only to not be able to zip it up. It appeared to be an excellent party dress...but would it be quality once it was in my hands? YES. This was beautiful material from top to bottom. We had an old ballerina underskirt to put underneath, but honestly it didn't need it. There were two layers of crinoline underneath. The top was a stretchy lace that hugged her shoulders well. If you're worried about fit, I'd say this one will be ok. It's hard to buy based on pictures alone, but if you need a little wiggle room for your little girl, this dress should be good to go. It made her birthday party that much more special, so I'll always cherish this dress! Thank you to everyone who provided pictures for ME.
