**Q: How think is the mat? Use for sleeping on the floor?**
A: I have a child care in my home and I purchased one of these mats for each of the kids.  They nap on the floor everyday.  The floor is carpeted.  They LOVE the mats. They are easy to clean up and clean.

**Q: What is the thickness of the Mat?**
A: The bottom is thin like a blanket.  My son lays it over a mat they provide at daycare, or on the floor over our soft carpet at home.  I would definitely lay it over a soft surface for your child to use.

I ordered 4 different map mats and this was the only one we kept for my son. He sleeps hot usually, and daycare is a lot warmer than our house. However, he doesn’t nap well at daycare without something to snuggle up with. This was the CLEAR winner. The cover is the softest, lightweight, throw blanket. The mar itself is also soft. Pillow is removable and I just machine wash with the rest of his clothes (though that’s not manufacturers recommended). Only complaint is that the pillow could be a tad thicker but overall we absolutely love this!

This napper was perfect for my 4 year old son for daycare. His previous napper had a sheet to pull across and her prefers a cozy fleece blanket like this one! He got it for his bday and asked to sleep on it at home for nap. You do have to pull out the pillow for washing, but I’m hoping that will help it keeps it shape longer. It is easy to take out and put in.

This is perfect for my son. I made a modification to it. I bought elastic and sowed it to the corners to get it to stay on the mat but I wanted a softer fabric then the ones that do have the elastic and this was perfect for my 1 year old for daycare
