Skewers aren't something I like to spend a great deal of money on for a rain bike so I started my hunt in the sub $25 area.Unlike nearly everything else, Amazon doesn't have a strong selection of skewers. You're either stuck spending $35+ for known brands. Or, you have to take a chance on mostly unknown brands.These skewers come from a company in Taiwan. I have a colleague from Taiwan and he was able to confirm for me that this brand is reliable and safe. Knowing that, I thought whatever, they're $10.Pulling these out and mounting them, I have to say, they're really not bad at all! They weigh 98 grams combined on my scale, seem to be constructed well, have smooth action when tightening, and hold both wheels well. I'm close to 200 pounds. I took the bike these are on, out on a hilly ride the other day, and noticed absolutely no looseness in either wheel.Overall, they're $10, come from a reputable company, look just fine, are fairly light and so far, have not only held up but held up very well. Obviously, I can't comment on long term dependability of these but I feel perfectly safe on them. I'd buy them again without hesitation.
