The dark roast isn’t too dark that it’s overpowering and the chicory evens it out I’d say. It taste fresh and not stale or burnt like some of the others do like CDM. I’ve tried the medium-dark roast as well but prefer the dark roast to that, it’s strong enough to wake me up but not too strong tasting that I need to drown it in fillers.
