The widest part of the clasp measures 11mm, not 13mm as indicated in the photo. The swivel ring measures 13mm from the widest part. The length is 31mm. I understood it was small when purchasing but the extra size on the clasp (which I expected) would have made a big difference in the ability to actually open the clasp. Opening is made more difficult because the clasp is so stiff. Comparison photo shows the CraftMeMore 1inch d-ring clasp (already a modest size).Edit: I found a more manageable size, the All-in-one lobster swivel clasp are the perfect size.
