I’m a lifelong fan so I was so excited to come across this drawing book. Along with the basic shapes method that shows you the lines, they include a grid method that is really helpful in the placement of certain angles and parts. This helped me with my proportions if I got off on some of my lines. They also included a tracing page that you can use to trace with. Budding artists will have fun drawing their favorite character from Winnie the Pooh. The book starts out with an introduction, a brief review of necessary tools and materials, a tutorial on tracing, an explanation on the grid method, and a review of the basic shapes technique.Each character page uses one of the methods, from grid, to basic shapes, to tracing. There are a few pages with some of the characters together, which is great fun to try and master. The grid method is easy for beginners, as well as the tracing one. The basic shapes method is for the more advanced, though the instructions are good enough for beginners who are inspired to try. I particularly liked the tips scattered throughout because they help with the visualization of the finished character.
