Evidence of chewed papers and a ruined sweater indicated that the mouse was finding its way right into my bedroom! It proved too wily to fall for the humane trap I left out for it and yet I hadn't the heart to kill the little tyke..I resorted instead to this PestBye advanced mouse repeller after reading several dismal reviews of similar devices. This ones reviews seemed marginally better at least; that this was the number one best seller suggested that this model was the way to go.Since placing it at the 'heart' of my modest victorian two bedroom semi a couple of weeks ago I've not heard so much as a squeak or a stirring either upstairs nor down. The settings which I used according to the instructions were: Pitch fixed; Output continuous; Frequency low. Its effectiveness was immediate!So now that those pesky rodents have fled the building and all has been quiet for a couple of weeks I think maybe now I might try the high frequency setting to see whether it might be as effective on my thriving community of bathroom spiders; the old wives' tale of placing conkers as a spider deterrent having proven so laughably futile! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product *by А***R on March 20, 2019* If I could give this product more than five stars I would. I plugged this in using an extension cord at the rear of the garage. I placed it on the baseboard facing my car. So in theory the sound waves travel the center of the garage and hit the front door and cover the car.I am in the process of using steel wool to reinforce any possible entry points, but as of now just my mouse trap and this ultrasonic repeller is on.No more mice eating peanut butter! I doubt I killed them all so this device must work to assist my efforts of ridding these pests. I don't expect this to work 100% but for now the kill rates have dropped.
