Couldn’t Have Done Better
I have hard feet to please! I just received these shoes and took them out on a 30 mile test run. The design of the shoes are flawless. Fizik took the time to implement a tongue Velcro strip so that the tongue does not shift around. I have ridden in many cycling shoes over the years. However, I have never found the shoes exactly the right width or length until now. The Tempos shoes are absolutely wonderful. My regular shoes I wear are a solid eight in street, boots and dress shoes. However, with cycling shoes this is never the case because my feet run a bit on the wide side. The Tempos fit me perfectly. I vouched to get the Power Straps because I always seem to be replacing boa lace kits at least once every other year on my Lake, Giro, and Specialized shoes. In those mentioned brands none of the have quite pleased my feet as well as the Fiziks. I did purchase a pair of winter Fizik Articas which led me to these shoes as the Articas were true to my actual foot size (41) Fixik 8 1/4. As for stiffness, they are pretty solid thus far, but I’m sure to get more results as my mileage progress. Will be buying more as prices drop on Amazon

Good value, a little wide, best for cool weather rides
I was looking for a second pair of Scott Road Pro shoes when Amazon suggested the Fizik Tempo R5 Powerstrap shoes at the same price. Not bad but I prefer the Scott shoes -- they fit my narrow feet better with thin socks and are cooler in summer. The Tempo R5 Powerstrap shoes have little ventilation and will feel hotter in summer. The Fizik was a bit wider than the Scott, and I had some metatarsal hot spots when pedaling hard. But using my favorite insoles, Profoot Miracle, resolved the fit and comfort problem.Quality appears to be good, as expected for Fizik. The Velcro power straps are okay, no better or worse than the two Velcro straps and third buckle strap on the Scott shoes. The Fizik upper is a bit too stiff to cinch down much on the toe box strap. With a little finesse it's easy to get the desired fit. These will probably be my cool weather shoes. There's room for thicker socks. I'll keep looking for another pair of Scott shoes for summer rides.

Most comfortable Fizik’s ever!
These are the most comfortable pair of Fizik’s that I’ve ever tried on or owned. Although I on a couple of other pairs of very high-end and expensive cycling shoes the shoes, which are very affordable relatively speaking, are quickly becoming my favorite cycling shoes. I also on the gravel shoe version of these and love them!I love these shoes so much that I ordered another pair in a different color.Although it’s nice to have the Boa system, in reality Velcro works just as well. These shoes seem super sturdy, are super comfortable, very light weight, and you can’t beat the price point in a higher in cycling shoe.

Very nice shoe - just narrow for my foot
This is my first experience with cycling shoes & clipless pedals (paired to speedplay pedals) - so bear that in mind for my review.I love the look of the shoe, it is very sleek, and the Velcro straps stay down and don't flare up at the ends. The shoe is quite stiff and I feel very well connected to the bike. If I find them too tight or loose I can reach down and adjust the straps as I'm riding which is nice.My only complaint, and the reason it's not 5-stars, is the width of the shoe. I don't usually need to buy wide shoes, but these seem quite tight and after the hour mark or so, I get some pain in the ball of my foot from being squeezed in the shoe. Thin socks paired with keeping the lower velcro strap looser has helped, but they still cause some discomfort.

The perfect cycling shoe for people with wider feet.
I've been cycling for a few years and these are by far the best shoes I've worn. I've tried multiple versions of shimano and fizik and these are by far the most comfortable yet. Full disclosure my feet are almost a full size different between the left and right and fairly wide with a high arch, so finding a shoe that's fits is difficult. The straps on these shoes allow for unlimited flexibility and amazing comfort. Due yourself a favor and replace the insoles with something more comfortable and order at least a half size above your sneaker size.

I’m happy I bought these
These are awesome cycling shoes. I like Velcro closure more than BOA fit because of ease of use and simplicity. These shoes fit perfect. I wear a 9.5 in sneakers and I ordered these in size 9.5. Awesome fit. Also D or M width shoes are sometimes too narrow for me in some brands but these aren’t too narrow. The first pair of cycling shoes I purchased years ago were on sale but were two sizes too big. I’m happy I have shoes that fit now. The extra money spent on these for a great fit was worth it.

Nice shoe worth the money
Fist I was a bit sceptical, I was riding Shimano shoes for many years, but a friend convinced me to try this Fizik R5After using it 3 times now - first time on the rodillo for 1h to try, without bigger problems - then 2 times longer on the road (4+5h) - I confirm it is a good shoe, the look is cool and it is a perfect 2nd shoe for meOnly - the shoe is a bit narrow (for me no problem, fits to my size)I ordered 43 (my regular size is 42) and it is on the bigger size - I think a 42.5 would be perfect - thats why only 4 stars, because even after doing some resurch in the net the sizing is a bit dificult

I love these shoes.
Once you've dialed-in what your shoe size actually is, you'll be hard-pressed to wear anything else. I had to go a few rounds with this because the sizing did NOT match that of my Giro's (I wear a 45 with Giro, but a 44 with these) but the Fiziks are evidently engineered to be a glove-fit. I tried the 43.5 and they fit TOO well - literally such a close fit that I couldn’t wear socks. But, now that I found the right fit, my Giro Savix have found themselves having to compete heavily for ride time lol; which may get worse once I nab the fiziks in black :).All in all, good buy.
