You would get much better results with a microwave oven or the stove top. **Q: I own one and one of the lower heating rods has warped upwards and the outer "casing" has even broken through. I then toast on one side for a minute and turn the toast over and give it another 1 to 1/2 minutes depending on the characteristics of the bread. The result to me is perfect. Far better results than in any of the toasters I've used and that includes the expensive Breville's. **Q: Can you fit an 8"x8" pan into the oven?** A: You should be able to.
