If you use air to raise it back off the safety then you can let it down slowly, **Q: Whats the base dimensions?** A: Base (top plate) is 11 1/4 inch, same as the gray transmission jacks. Bottom dimension base (bolted to the wheels) roughly 40 1/4 inches.
