Note: All parameters for reference, the actual may be a bit deviation. The actual effect of tone will be a little different from different guitars or related equipment. The DC Resistance we marked will change due to the difference in ambient temperature, and the range of change will reach 500Ω. In case of extreme temperature, the range of change will be greater.

Review: A Good Value - I have an Ibanez ARX300 guitar that I like. The neck feels great, easy to play, very very comfortable. While the guitar's playability is great, the ceramic pickups (ACH1) that came with it seems lifeless to me. It is not that bad, but I find myself looking for something else. I did a little research and found out that most of the music that I listen to, (60's & 70's) were mostly done with guitars using alnico pickups. Although I believe even more songs were recorded using P90's & Fender's single coils. But for humbuckers, my choices were between alnico II or alnico V. A simple search on desertcart yielded tons of pickups. From $250 for a single neck pickup to $13 for a set of 2 pickups. I didn't want to get a super cheap one but neither would I pay for a pickup that costs as much as a guitar. So I settled for the OriPure alnico II neck pickup at about $30. It was an easy install. It sounded good, better than the stock ceramic pickup on my guitar. It has a bit more definition. Overall, I like the sound that I was getting. Having said all that, the difference was "not" night & day. The clouds did not part and no angels were singing. It's not a jump from a small cheap solid state amp to a full blown boutique tube amp. But for the money I paid, I got the improvement I was looking for. Good upgrade!

I pickup sono ottimi! vanno benissimo per suonare blues e pop rock con non troppa distorsione. Se montati su una chitarra che va diretta in un amplificatore danno un suono molto definito. Se collegati in una pedaliera e in un mixer bisognerà dare un po' più di volume rispetto agli Alnico V ma nel complesso mi sento di consigliarli!
