The box is worn down and the lipsticks themselves are detached from the container. So, you will find that when you open a tube of lipstick, it simply falls out. I expected some dysfunction given the price of the set itself. The bottom of the lipstick is color coded, however, it doesn't match up to the actual color inside the tube. The lipsticks themselves are very pretty in addition to transfers to the lips very smoothly. The colors are vibrant and as they appear in the photograph. I would recommend buying an empty palette to place the lipsticks instead of opening the tube and having it fall out. There are some sold on Amazon and I believe Japonesque has a few, but there are some lower ended ones that are just fine as well.
