I tested this out straight away and tested it hard. Threw a 4 hook set of feathers on, aling with a 1oz weight and started jigging for mackerel. First fish, just the one large mackerel, fight was excellent. the rod has a very sensitive action to it, feels almost delicate untill you put it to the test. Next fish, a full house of 4 large mackerel at the same time. I honestly thought the rod was going to snap, but i just kept pushing it. Rod tip almost touching the butt section and it held on quite nicely. I would have given this little beauty 5 stars, but overall you can feel the cheapnes in the rod. the bend doesnt travel through the full rod, but is more focused at the tip down to around mid section of the rod.
