## Description

TR-800-HIK is a complete Powered Air Purifying Respirator featuring an Intrinsically Safe (IS) motor/blower - certified by UL with an IS rating of Division 1: IS Class I, II, III under standard UL 60079, 6th Edition, 2013. NIOSH approved filters and cartridges help protect against hazards like particulates, nuisance odors, organic vapors and acid gases potentially found in chemical handling, oil and gas refining, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Warning: Respirators help protect against certain airborne contaminants. Before use, the wearer must read and understand the User Instructions provided as a part of the product packaging. Follow all local regulations. In the U.S., a written respiratory protection program must be implemented meeting all the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910. 134 including training, fit testing and medical evaluation. In Canada, CSA standards Z94. 4 requirements must be met and/or requirements of the applicable jurisdiction, as appropriate. Misuse may result in sickness or death. For correct use, consult supervisor and User Instructions, or call 3M Personal Safety Division (PSD) Technical Service in the U. S. A. at 1-800-243-4630. In Canada, call 1-800-267-4414. I wished I had gotten the TR800 years ago. This makes my job so much easier. It's better than using a facemask with a cartridge because it brings in air to you so you don't have to use your lungs to suck in the air, its like living in a bubble. I use it more with the light weight headwear that they use in medical and spray booth, the helmet is a bit heavy for me, but can come in handy. Buy it, your lungs and thank you.
