Review: Wonderful addition to my African Grey's cage - This Colorday 9" Bird Mirror with Rope Perch is a wonderful addition to my African Grey's cage. The mirror is clear and well-made, and the rope perch is sturdy and comfortable for gripping. My bird enjoys spending time perched in front of it, which keeps him entertained and active. He has had other mirrors in the past that he just ignored. It was easy to hang and feels very secure. The materials seem safe and durable, and it adds a nice bit of enrichment to the cage. Great quality for the price—highly recommended for your happy, curious birds! 🐦
Review: Don't pay attention to the bad reviews complaining about its poor reflective qualities. - This stainless steel mirror is very highly polished and reflective. The perch fastens on with metal wingnuts, with bolts protruding from the ends of the perch and is very sturdy. The hooks on top of the mirror are extensions of the same piece of stainless steel and the mirror just rests on horizontal cage bars, making it very easy and quick to mount. NOTE: I read some reviews before buying this product and some stated that the quality of the reflective surface was unsatisfactory, and I almost didn't purchase it because of that. THOSE CLAIMS ARE TOTALLY FALSE! What may have happened is that those customers who complained about it accidentally mounted the mirror with the wrong side because the reverse side is not polished. There are protective films covering both sides and the side with the blue film is the one that should not be used in mounting it to use as the mirror side. This product is practically indestructable and well worth the money. The photo shows the mirror so reflective that you can see my parrot's other hanging toys.
