Or for support of your neck during meditation if you do so with your back against a wall. But as a foot rest it absolutely sucks. I liked the idea of memory foam but expected a very firm foam. This is not it. If you put your feet on it you may as well just put them on the ground because it squishes from it's form to basically flat. The foot rest is essential for me for better posture and thanks to that same review suggestion, I use it for lumbar support, too! It’s small, soft, cool and I love the way memory foam adjusts to your shape - it works great not only for my feet but my lower back as well! I use it day and night. I got this to try and level my legs, to reduce the pressure the front of the chair places on them them..
