He goes outside at school in all weather, including rain, and after ONE morning in the rain, the jacket was completely soaked through, his clothes were soaked, he was soaked! If you are looking for a raincoat for your child to actually wear in the rain, this isn't it. It would be fine to wear walking from the house to the car or from the car into a store, etc., but not in more than a little bit of rain. Really disappointed because it is advertised as waterproof and is obviously not.
