The piston action is robust and along with the resistance bands it gives a great workout. I work from home and was thinking this would help me get my 10,000 steps. NO CHANCE. It's brutal... I have jelly legs after 1000. Altogether it's a great piece of kit. It takes up very little room, it's great quality and sturdily built and I feel fitter after a few days using it. It's also low-impact so seems to help my sore knees which can suffer a bit if I run.
