These traps are less expensive than others but it does just as good a job. I used them last year and hung them out this year. Jyst cleaned out the bag n stored it over the winter in airtight container. The lure is still catching these critters

**Q: I have the same question, there was the bait and in the bait holder a small rubber nozzle, but nothing in the directions say what to do with it.**
A: Just remove the protecting film and mount the whole thing (the bait and the hose) in the slot as shown on the box.

**Q: What is the little rubber nozzle thing next to the lures?  I'd love to see a close up pic of installing the lures (to be sure I did it right). And how long does it take for the beetles to find the trap?**
A: The Japanese Beetles usually find the trap very quickly.  The yellow vanes assemble into an X-shape.  The bag is attached to the yellow vanes.  The lure also attaches to the vanes.  Very simple construction.  The instructions are clear.  Rubber Nozzle--I haven't a clue as to what you are talking about.

**Q: When I removed the foil cover from the lure, the plastic over the felt discs came with it. Were they supposed to remain behind the plastic shield?**
A: Only the foil should come off.  The felt discs should remain attached inside the plastic "dish." Then, the edges of the plastic "dish" fit into the matching grooves on the large yellow hanger.  The felt should face inward.  The Beetles, by the way, never end up on the felt lure because they are such lousy flyers.  They fall down the yellow flutes and then into the green bag.  Hope this is clear.

I get japanese beetles coming after my garden. I placed these traps away from my garden and it draws the beetles away from garden. They can't get out once they fall in. These traps are less expensive than others but it does just as good a job. I used them last year and hung them out this year.
