Review: Like the shelf, but doesn't hold as many books as I thought - I put this together by myself in a short amount of time with only one issue, a pre drilled hole was missing where a screw was needed. Not a big deal since I had a bit, and drilled my own. I really like the shelf, but it didn't hold as many books as I thought it would. Also the white board was chipped in the corner, but after being put together wasn't visible. The shelves (also have white board coating) also had a few chips which I was unable to hide because they can only be inserted one way. Not a huge deal because the books cover it, but for the amount of money spent, was a slight disappointment. For the reasons listed I took away one star. I do like the sturdiness of this bookshelf, even on the wheels I added.

it's beautiful and my nephew loves it, however it took hours to assemble, as the predrilled holes were exceptionally tight and wrenching the screws took a lot more work than I expected, and there were cracks in the boards which make me wonder how long it will hold up. I specifically picked this book case for its quality and durability, it fell short of expectation. Amazon offered a replacement only by returning it, but it's too big and heavy to bother putting more hours into a return process......Beautiful piece of little furniture for a little guy, but not without flaws.
