Did the job it was advertised for
Overall, satisfied for the job it does - I needed this to power a laptop for about 6 hours (laptop was fully charged, but needed to ensure laptop how power throughout the day). This device did that, no problem. My only (2) concerns is that is is labeled "solar powered", but it doesn't have solar panels to charge; Secondly, it doesn't allow pass-through charging. That is, while it's charging, allow charging of my cellphone, too. Other than that, worked fine.

Compact yet packs a big punch generator for camping and hiking.
The media could not be loaded.  Wherever you might find yourself if there isn’t an electrical outlet for miles your best bet is to invest in a portable generator. Portable generators are perfect for everything from tailgate season to outdoor construction projects. However, with so many generators on the market today, you may have no clue what the right generator for your personal needs is. However, we understand that many of you want portable generators that will work for tailgates and more extensive camping needs. It’s also simple to use, so you won’t be pulling any ripcords to turn on the generator. Instead, there is a simple power button on the middle. It even looks like an old boom box you may have owned in previous years. On the other side, you’ll find two AC outlets, DC input, and a power on/off switch. Probably the best feature with this portable charger is you can load it up with energy by connecting it to a wall outlet. That means no buying gasoline. You can even charge it by connecting it to your car’s 12V cigarette lighter adapter. I personally charge mine by regular wall outlet and it takes approximately 5 to 6 hours to fully charge. The length of the battery depends on what you are using it for. For anyone living in a van, off grid, or just traveling on weekends, this product is amazing and will supply the power you need.At just 14 pounds, this is a great device to have on hand during a storm, especially during tornado or hurricane season. It’s something you’d take with you for camping or when you need to power larger devices for electric fan, bug zapper and digital cameras. This is more than just a generator to keep in your car. It uses a rechargeable lithium power pack that has enough energy to last while you’re camping. You can charge smartphones more than 10 times before the pack runs dry. This is great if you want some basic electrical devices running while you’re camping, or if you live in an area that is often hit by storms for extended periods of time. You really can’t go wrong with this generator. Whether you want something that’s perfect for emergencies or you can take with you on outdoor hiking trips all the way to extremely powerful generators designed for epic tailgates, and this is something for you.

Electricity on the go
This item really is electricity on the go. We took it camping in our trailer this past week end and used it to power our 110v lights, recharge our phones, recharge and operate our computer. (It is pure sine wave so the computer is safe.) It showed a full charge when we left and was only down to 40% when we got home. Still had lots of power remaining. Once home we recharged the unit and played with it around the house. We powered a vintage, power hungry, fan and it worked just fine. Then we powered our 50" flat screen television for a couple hours. No problems at all. I did try to overload it with an electric drill and while it would not power it (750 watts) it did try to and did make it actually spin. It is a 250 watt unit and that is one thing one must keep in mind when using. Light bulbs are rated in watts but most item are rated in amps. Simple method of finding watts for a given item is to multiply amps time volts. Amps x Volts=Watts. It has a single 110v 60htz outlet. 3 12v outlets rated, this time in amps, and they are 4 amps max. And 2 USB outlets rated, again in amps, at 3.1 amp max. Measures in at 11" x 5" x 4" and weighs about 4 lbs. It does have a lithium battery but really isn't too heavy to carry around. The handle is a rubber material and is spring loaded to retract. Recharging can be done in a number of ways. Plug it into your 110v outlet in home, power recharge brick and cords included. Plug it into your cars 12v cigar lighter outlet, plug and cord are also included. Lastly you can charge with a solar panel, unfortunately, this is not an included item but I guess the price would be too high if it was. Amazon sells a number of them that will work though. I plan of purchasing one myself. To monitor state of charge there are 5 blue LEDs that indicate how much power is left. 20% 40% 60% 80% 100%. In the end I must say that I like this power station. It will allow us to camp and recharge power without running a noisy and smelly generator. Always wanted one and glad I purchased. Oh, and kudos to Amazon for one day free delivery...

120 volt system inoperable, 12 volt one unregulated
I bought this because it had a decent price. However, you do get what you pay for. It shipped at around 75% to 90% charged. I was expecting around 100 watt-hours, so I let it charge overnight. I then unplugged from the charger and started tests, because if it is plugged into the charger, it will not output any electricity.I plugged in a voltmeter to the 12 volt side, got 12.5 or so volts -- good enough. On the other hand, when I plugged a power supply into the 120 volt side and switched that on, it kept flickering, so the voltage was unreadable. The power supply is a tiny "wall wart" power supply that at most pulled 25 watts. I confirmed the switch was on because the the LCD panel showing battery life was lift, so the 120 volt subsystem was on. I tried both outlets, and even though I did hear popping in the power supply, no current came out.It came with a decent LED light for the USB port, and the 12 volt system is OK, but because I am not getting anything from the 120 volt side. Because of this, it is going to head back to Amazon.Rating one star. If I can't trust the power on the 120 volt side to be usable, this thing has failed in its primary function.Lesson learned: Pay the premium price and get a known name brand. Jackery, Goal Zero, or something with higher ratings.
