They are microwaveable and dishwasher safe. They are convenient for small portions and as children's plates. They are replacing my 30 year old Tupperware plates.

When my young grandkids are over, I usually use paper plates for their food. I purchased these plates as a less wasteful alternative. They seem to be very sturdy, and I like the raised lip to help contain crumbs. I'm not a fan of the colors since I like a more neutral color palette, but I thought my grandkids would prefer a colorful selection. The plates fit on their highchair trays, and the kids like getting to pick out the color plate they want to use. I'm going to wash them by hand since reading some reviews about discoloration from putting in the dishwasher. I used one plate in the microwave for thirty seconds and it was fine, not sure how long they can withstand being in the microwave. The plates were a good choice for my use, and I definitely recommend.

I ordered these to have a small plate as a snack on hand. I ended up using them as individual plates to feed the feral kitty crew I tend to. They are very easy to clean and the perfect size for so many things. I am ordering a second set to keep on my kitchen shelves for snacks and desserts. They are very sturdy, hold up well in the microwave and just very handy for so many things.
