No fault of the shoe, I am just not a big runner.These shoes are now my go to every day shoes, and I even wear them to work. They are lightweight and breath very well. Which is important because I am on my feet all day and my old shoes would keep my feet hot. These I have had no issues in sweaty hot feet department! The no shoe lace feature is awesome. Put them on and tighten! Quick and effective. They are fairly comfortable for day to day activites, and I feel like if I wanted to run in them they would be awesome...sometimes when I am walking I get the urge to start running when I'm wearing them. Than I remember I am out of shape and the feeling to run quickly dies away.I did recently buy the insanity workout dvd's and am wearing these shoes. I can comment that they provide good support for the constant moving. However they are not very comfortable for the workout and hurt my feet, mainly at the arch of my foot. There is alot of jumping in the workouts too and these do not provide much cushion for landing, and my feet start to hurt after doing the jumping workouts as well. The reason is not because I am hugely unhealthily overweight either! I am 5'10 and weigh 214 pounds, pretty solid built dude. But that is alot of weight landing repeatedly on not much cushioning. I'll be buying better workout shoes this weekend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect *by J***R on November 17, 2010* I use to be a boot only guy but since I bought these shoes I havent put on my hiking boots. The insoles are great and comfortable yet supportive. You dont feel the rocks or rough terrain. The thread is aggresive enough for mud and provide great grip in slippery conditions. The laces are great and easy to adjust. I have used these in all different types of terrain like sand, soft dirt, mud, grass, heavy weeds, rocks, gravel, and light snow. My friend did the John Muir trail 220 miles in a week with these shoes. Highly Recommend to everyone! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great,but tight *by P***W on September 24, 2011* Typical Salomon great quality and feel, but for some reason these feel tighter/narrower on my feet than my previous two. Used them for a few runs, but they didn't stretch out (I didn't expect them to).
