It has a lovely castor oil scent and has the texture of a thick pomade. That being said it doesn’t seem to do the best job of really moisturizing the scalp to the roots, but as it is hair food not hair moisturizer, I’m sure it is doing it’s job applying nutrients to my roots. Sometimes every few months I get dandruff problems and I was hoping this might seem to help that, but it hasn’t seemed to work effectively to keep everything well oiled.
