I'd previously bought a gas spring arm which because of the angle of the arms, the monitors stuck out far too much.Assembly was a doddle and everything was mounted within 30 mins or so.Another thing I love about this mount is the cable management. The cables run along the horizontal arm and down through the pole. I've got a bit of tidying up to do on mine but you get the idea.One minor criticism is the part that the vesa bracket sits on is a bit lose so it can be very difficult to get your monitors to align perfectly (more so if you have 2 of the exact same model, it probably won't be as noticeable if you have different sizes/brand monitors). I can't see a way of tightening it, I think there's just too much play in the bit the vesa bracket drops in to.
