They do look as good as on the Amazon web site and as such I will give a four star rating and will update as and when they are used.Update. My wife has now used the mats and thinks they are great and look really smart on the dining table. The colour is good being something between a mid grey and darker fawn and looks smart with our plain white crockery and with coloured napkins. I always serve hot food on very warm plates and use these without a mat on top, without discolouring the table. I would use a mat for hot casserole dishes etc. These were extremely reasonably priced, and food spilled is easily removed with the application of a small drop of neat washing up liquid to the stain, brushing over with a washing up brush before rinsing under the tap and patting dry. My fault - it is plastic, after all - what was I thinking?
