- SIZE: Rebate size to fit 70mm newel posts. The 70mm Double Cap measures 140mm x 70mm (5.5" x 2.8"), the 70mm Full Cap measures 96mm x 96mm (3.8" x 3.8") and the 70mm Half Cap measures 96mm x 46mm (3.8" x 1.8").
- FINISH: Supplied unfinished, the oak post cap is a hardwood that is a light brown clear timber with very small knot, if any. The colour of the wood will turn golden brown when finishing the newel cap in either oil, wax, stain or varnish.
- APPLICATION: Rebated on the underside of the cap to fit over your 70mm newel posts. We recommend fixing with a hard setting adhesive or suitable wood glue. Suitable for new or existing newel posts.
