Fantastic product!
A bit steep of a pricetag but with that comes quality and I've no regrets.

Great rowing machine
Bought this after comparing it to the Concept 2. Having used the concept at the gym I wasn’t sure if this would be as good. I wasn’t disappointed. They look similar and both have the chain mechanism. I think this is on a par with the concept 2. I’m writing this review after a year of using so I am in a good position to compare the two. For the money you save I think this is a good choice and it’s not a compromise. It’s definitely worth buying. It’s easy to build and is really solid. Folds away for storage. I would definitely recommend it.

Almost as good as the leading brand
I had used the Concept 2 machines in the gym and they are reputed to be the best in terms of construction, sturdiness, programming and reliability. I couldn’t afford one for my own gym at home so I bought the JTX Fitness Air machine instead. Easy to assemble, surprisingly large, the action is the same as the Concept. The movement is clean, the seat is a little tough but admittedly my arse has changed shape over the last few years so hopefully that will soon be resolved. There were teething problems with the monitor but the manufacturer went above and beyond in sorting out the problem, including a home visit from a technician. OK so you don’t get the same programme functions as with the Concept but if you want to know how far you’ve rowed, for how long, what your stroke rate was, what the average time per 500m is, how many calories you’ve burned and the watts you’ve generated, the monitor will tell you. The machine separates into two parts if you need to move it, and it will store in a compact area if you need to do so. But why would you, when it’s such a great piece of equipment to work out on, and the cost is so much less than membership at that gym where you have to wait to use a sweat-covered, rusting, battered old Concept machine? Buy one!
