## Overview

Excilor Ultra 30ml is a potent antifungal nail treatment designed for both fingernails and toenails. Its unique formula penetrates deeply for up to 24 hours without the need for filing, delivering visible improvements within two weeks. Compatible with nail varnish, it not only halts fungal infections but also rebuilds and strengthens nail structure, ensuring healthier, more resilient nails and preventing future reinfections.

## Description

Product Description Exceled ultra 30ml has an improved efficacy and only has to be used once a day. The product improves the look of the nail during treatment and can also be used with nail varnish. The most important constituent of toe and finger nails is keratin. Keratin is a hard and dense substance that most anti-fungal preparations cannot penetrate. Exceled ultra controls the micro-environment of the nail by acidifying the nail bed. Ingredients Water, polyurethane, acetic acid, , peppermint oil, octyl gallate, polysorbate 80, dehydroacetic acid, acetyl acetate, acetylated lanolin, alcohols, preservatives, biotin. P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); Directions Apply once a day using the applicator brush to the entire surface of the nail and under the edge of the nail. The product penetrates and dries in minutes. An invisible, peelable and water-resistant film is formed. After 24 hours, remove the film and reapply the treatment. No deposit required. Safety Warning Keep out of the reach and sight of children. For External use only. Instructions for use: please read the leaflet carefully. Warning: Avoid contact with normal healthy skin. Diabetics with foot problems should consult their Doctor before using Excilor. See more

Review: This stuff works! Patience and dedication are the key. - I have suffered with two heavily infected fungal toenails for almost 20 years (left little toe and the one next to it), that would spread to the surrounding skin causing recurring athlete's foot that I would treat, it would clear, and then come back, with the nails as the source of reinfection. The nails would become very thick and brittle, splitting right down the centre the whole length of the nail over the nail bed causing bleeding and pain. I tried products prescribed by the GP that you paint on and then file down after a week for a six month period. Didn't even touch the infection. I tried a range of other Excilor products. None of them worked, either. In pure desperation, I ended up buying this. The instructions say to use it for a month, but if you have a heavy infection, it is going to take MUCH longer. I have been using it for 8 months now, and one nail is clear: it went a bit strange and then completely came off. I kept treating the area, and it grew back healthy! I'm onto my second bottle (the original hadn't finished, but it becomes less effective and takes longer to dry with time). My little toenail split and fell off a couple of weeks ago. It takes ages to grow back, so I'm hoping it is going to come back healthy. I will keep treating until this bottle runs out. It is easy to use - have a shower, dry your feet, paint it on and let it dry. The following day, peel it off in the shower (it peels of very easily in warm water) and repeat the treatment. You MUST, however, remember to use it every day because this stuff is not fungicidal - it just stops it growing and the infection is displaced by new nail growth (unless the infected nail simply drops off like mine did). When you forget the treatment, the fungus will recover.
Review: seems to work – no, it works! Just be patient (see update) - I am two months in to treating infected nails on my feet. I have used Ultra and the standard Excilor clear liquid. I prefer Ultra I think. Started in June this year, now mid-Aug. Bought my first bottle of this from a local pharmacy for 25 quid, whereas on desertcart it was 16! This Ultra looks a milky colour and smells of mint. When you paint it on it is white but clears to transparent as it dries. Takes c.10 mins for this. Very little tingling and generally no side effects other than 1) the infected nails brighten up and look nice and pink when you pull the coating off next day, except where there is fungus in the nail. 2) after 6 weeks I noticed that the treated nails seemed to have been thinned a bit (no filing of the nails done). I recommend putting it on quite thick since this makes it easier to pull off the next day. I started because my big toenails and the second toe on one foot were obviously infected although not to a really bad degree (like some of the photos on here!) My strategy was to treat all nails on both feet in case there was infection I could not see. No effect noticed on any of the unaffected nails after 6 weeks, so I am now concentrating on the bad three. The second toe nail came off one day when removing the Excilor coating and is regrowing from the bottom out. The big toenails appear to be growing on and slowly the yellow section can be clipped off, leaving healthy pink looking nail behind. I have not come to the end of the treatment, since neither 3 months have passed nor has the yellowed parts of the nails fully grown out. Therefore I cannot offer an opinion whether this stuff "works" in the absolute sense, all I can say at the mo is that it is doing what the manufacturer says to expect and it looks like progress. I expect to continue for at least another month. I have also tried the standard clear liquid version which seems to be presented as implicitly weaker than Ultra and requires two applications a day. No coating to peal off. You can either paint it on thinly (recommended) or flooded on allowing the liquid to gather at the edges and under the top of the nail. This seems a desirable thing and that is why I got it. However a possible side effect of this method is that it irritated the skin around the nails and made it quite tender. Since the fungal spores could easily be hiding there, this is not necessarily a bad thing. But my toes did become quite sore and so I stopped doing this. They recovered quite quickly. I'll update this in a month or two. UPDATE: It's now early March of the following year. My toenails look pretty healthy and the infected sections are almost completely grown out. Last year I carried on putting on the Ultra everyday up until some time in November – that meant buying a second bottle. I stopped because I got bored with doing the application every day (and busy a work). Then I just kind of forgot about them... Very occasionally I used some of the clear liquid version to soak up under each infected nail, but this was not a regular thing. Then I really forgot about it all, until the last week or so when I noticed my toes again. I am really pleased to see how the formerly partially detached nails are reattached. On one side about 30% of the nail was detached like this. Now there remains a relatively narrow white line of previously infected nail still to grow out on each toe, but I expect this to be gone soon enough. I think leaving my toes alone was an important part of allowing the nail to reattach. Poking and pulling at them was inhibiting the regrowth process. Also, the Ultra (latex) one makes the surface of the nail look a bit rough and raggedy during treatment, with the constant putting on and pulling off of the latex-based treatment. I am pleased to see that is growing out too, being replaced by normal shiny healthy looking nail surface. I am very pleased, especially given the really gloomy prognosis given on medical websites for clearing fungal nail infections. Good job, Excilor!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do you need to remove nail polish every day to reapply?**
A: The fungus is also present in your flesh, so you might gain some benefit from applying it to the area around your nail, but for it to work properly you would definitely need to remove your nail polish.

**Q: Is it meant to be peeled of or do you reapply on top of the previous day?**
A: I shower every night. It softens nicely, then it peels off. It’s a bit like peeling off a layer of skin.

**Q: Is this suitable for finger nails ? I have two badly infected nails on left hand .. but no products say for fingernails**
A: Yes it’s suitable for fingernails .. I’ve used on one of mine .. you can also put nail polish over this treatment .. need to change everyday

**Q: Can I use this on top of nail varnish**
A: I believe it’s meant to be applied under nail varnish (preferably breathable) but I haven’t done that as yet.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Think it’s working well, visible improvements
*by J***S on 17 March 2026*

Did a really good job to start and is cleaning my nails up nicely. Just has been two weeks and the improvements seem to have stopped, might just be doing something concealed just can’t tell at mo. Bit difficult to ‘peel’ off unless you literally paint/soak your nail in it. Normally just get in bath and is easier to remove
