This is our first year, so time will tell how it holds up thru the winter and the first year. So far so good. I have 4 large hens and it works well. The only thing we did to change it is after we had put it all together we made an 18"( wired sides) support stand with the exact same dimensions to give added height. While it was the size as stated there is no way you could fit more than 2 grown chickens in this coop. While had some nice features the wood is not that great quality. The only thing i can say is that is was fairly easy to put together. IF you have more than 2 chickens do not buy. By the way it will also require some kind of additional run because there is not enough space to place even a small food or water container. I am trying to get somebody to buy it so i can recoup at least some of my money back. Buyer beware.

Wood is very light, cheaply made. The ladder to the coop was cracked, and unusable upon unpacking. I had to use wood glue to make it work temporarily. I have four chickens about a month and a half old in it at night. It’s very small for four of them.Directions are diagram form only, no explanation of what goes where. It took about two hours to put it together with the diagram and pictures from Amazon to see where parts went.

I have had this coop for a year and it is holding up wonderfully. Just used it again with my new chicks. Great training to teach chicks to go into coop at night. As chicks get bigger they do need more room that this coop though. Easy to assemble but I recommend a power tool to make it easier. Great product and no problems with predators.

This coop is really only big enough for maybe 3 large hens, greet brooding coop, no way is this large enough for any more then 3 large chickens

What a great chicken coop. Instructions were very clear. We were very please that all the pieces had a hole for the pegs that put everything in place. Then all we had to do was screw it together. Plus the screws for each step was in separate bags that had a number. And every part of the structure had a letter printed on it. No guessing to what went where. We recommend this chick coop.

This coop is not worth the money I spent on it, Very cheep and flimsy. Very unsatisfied with my purchase and definitely will not fit 6 chickens. I will be lucky to get one year out of it

A distanza di 3 anni dal mio acquisto confermo più o meno le impressioni avute all'inizio (Vedi parte sottostante questa recensione), togliendo però una stella al prodotto i problemi che ho riscontrato nel tempo:DIFETTI:- il legno usato è davvero troppo sottile e per un pollaio che sta all'aperto e a contatto con il terreno, non garantisce alcun isolamento termico e il legno tende a piegarsi.Ho costruito per il mio pollaio un basamento in acciaio zincato con una rete elettrosaldata poggiato su 4 ruote, così da poterlo spostare facilmente per la pulizia. Ho inoltre dovuto applicare dei pannelli di polistirolo d'inverno per l'isolamento della parte chiusa, e dei pannelli in plexiglas nella zona esterna per riparare meglio. Ho inoltre provveduto ad installare nella parte chiusa una lampadina infrarossi da terrario per riscaldare quando le temperature scendono troppo d'inverno.- Le tavole della parte bassa del nido sospeso si sono piegate non sostenendo più il basamento, ho dovuto applicare delle placche metalliche per aumentare la resistenza e risolvere il problema.- La zona sotto la parte chiusa è difficile da raggiungere e da pulire, sarebbe stato il caso di creare uno sportellino per risolvere anche questo inconveniente.Penso che se ripensassero ai materiali usati e munissero il pollaio di rialzi per non farlo stare a contatto diretto con il terreno, e quindi l'umidità, e risolvessero il problema del difficile raggiungimento per la pulizia di tutti gli spazi, sarebbe un prodotto impareggiabile._______________________________________VECCHIA RECENSIONE:Il pollaio mi è arrivato in due imballi di grosse dimensioni nei tempi indicati.All'interno ho trovato i fogli con le istruzioni per il montaggio e tutti gli accessori necessari, tranne ovviamente gli strumenti per avvitare.Le istruzioni consistono in due fogli, in uno compaiono tutti i pezzi presenti negli imballaggi, con i relativi numeri di riferimento; Nell'altro invece c'è una sequenza disegnata del montaggio. Ho trovato un po' di difficoltà inizialmente, perché la guida è davvero essenziale, ma essendo anche i pezzi, e le viti numerate con lettere e numeri, alla fine sono riuscito egregiamente.Suggerirei comunque alla ditta costruttrice di inserire una guida un po' più facile e leggibile.Il pollaio è delle dimensioni descritte, effettivamente penso che più di 4 animali non possano starci. I posatoi sono un po' troppo ballerini, ho provveduto a renderli più stabili.Lo spessore delle tavole e della rete è un po' troppo poco a mio avviso. Se fossero più spesse avremmo un prodotto da 5 stelle. Io l'ho appoggiato su una superficie liscia di cemento e per la pulizia lo sposto, ma ho dovuto rinforzarlo con placche di ferro per rendere il tutto più rigido ed evitare che le varie parti si staccassero. Le aperture della cassetta per le uova e del tetto sono molto utili, ma inserirei anche un'apertura per l'altra parte di tetto, perché è difficile la pulizia dell'area con la rete, sia di lato che sotto la cassetta per il ricovero notturno.Ho provveduto anche a dipingere le zone più basse e più a contatto con le deiezioni, con una guaina gommosa a base d'acqua per evitare che il legno marcisca velocemente, perché sebbene sia legno di conifera trattato, penso che possa rovinarsi velocemente per via dell'umidità degli escrementi animali e dei vari lavaggi.Per il resto sono molto soddisfatto, esteticamente è davvero carino e i pezzi e i tasselli di incastro sono stati fatti in maniera precisissima.Concludendo si tratta di un prodotto di qualità, ma che avrebbe bisogno di essere riprogettato più resistente (tavole spesse, rinforzi vari) e con più facilità di accesso per la pulizia di tutte le zone.

Est arrivé avec un coup dans le toit .Je l'ai signalé et mais je vais devoir attendre 20 ans pour avoir la pièce de rechange .1ans plus tard toujours pas la pièce et avec les pluies le toit du pondoir est très fragilise et ils est bon a être remplacé ! This is easy to put together with 2 people, didn't take long at all. When I ordered this I knew it would be much smaller than the pictures suggest. I bought this as an extra bedtime coop, nest box and shelter from the weather not to keep birds in permanently. Even with very small birds 6-8 birds is way too optimistic if you're planning to keep them just in this with no free roam, Even 2 would struggle. Probably 4 average size chickens to bed down in would be about right. The bedding area and nest box is a good size and is fairly easy to clean, it has a lot of access points which is a bonus. All in all good value for money but buy with caution and consider the size carefully

das ist vielleicht in England zulässig - aber in Deutschland kann und darf man Hühner so gar nicht halten. Wir haben den "Hühnerstall" gestern aufgebaut - ich war schon sehr entsetzt. Da kann man niemals 4-6 Hühner unterbringen. Der Stall ist viel zu niedrig und zu eng, die Stangen sind zu dicht beieinander, die Stangen selbst vom Durchmesser viele zu klein. Absoluter Fehlkauf!Da kann man höchstens ein paar Meerschweinchen unterbringen.Fast 300 € für nichts!
