I frantically transferred our kids height measurements from the door jam to a spare piece of wood during our last move, and I wanted something that could move with us next time instead.This comes with a hook on the back like a picture frame. We didn’t want to put a nail in the wall, so we put two command strip zip connectors (like Velcro) on the back, one on the top and one on the bottom). We transferred our kids’ heights to it using shimmery sharpies in different colors, which ended up being very subtle, but the different colors stand out instead of having them all black.
