Short lead to the socket. *by T***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 June 2019* I didn't read the description in enough detail perhaps, but whilst LED, be aware that these are like old Christmas tree lights in that they're 240v with a 3amp fuse. No transformer. So I would not use these without a RCD at the socket (faster response than the consumer unit RCD I believe....)These look great, are very bright but not quite as robust as Commercial models sold elsewhere. Perfect for the garden though if out of reach. And work well with a smart plug to turn in and off.The join socket to 240v plug is about 30cm, which forces you into buying an extension or cutting and joining the lead to another wire if you want the lights away from your socket. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for the price. *by A***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 May 2021* My only major gripe with the product is the mains lead end with the plug on is very short, probably less than 1 meter before reaching the first bulb, i had to buy an extension pack to reach our gazebo roof from the outdoor power point. The quality is ok for the price point, and bulbs are reasnobly bright to add some warm ambience to your garden setting, my worry is about the water proofing, around the housing and cable seems water tight, but the bulb connection there is very little preventing water ingress, no rubber seal or anything, so i would be cautious about using them in wet conditions, Would also recomend the use of an RCD breaker just encase. Our outdoor socket has one fitted and the lights are fitted inside under a gazebo canopy so in my setting should prevent water getting on them. I ordered another set as it didnt reach the lenght required, however glad they can be daisy chained so only taking up one socket, this is one of the features i like, and the options to extend cable if nessesary, but for the few days ive used them no issues yet, just be careful if you intend to use them directly outdoors exposed to the elements. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very bright LED lights, large bulbs look good. *by M***G on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 September 2019* Mains LED lights, Really good garden lights. Very bright, great for illumination of a large area. I would exercise caution as these are glass bulbs, I put them up when I need them, rather them than a permanent fit, as I think heavy winds could cause damage to them. I would also like a longer lead from the plug to the first bulb, but overall I am very happy with these lights.Second order, Solar rechargeable lights. As bright as mains lights, I like that you appear to be able to charge them manually with a USB lead into socket on the side. Same word of caution as these are glass bulbs so I would not suggest are suitable for leaving out permanently. I also note that the hook on the side of the bulb fitting means only suitable for hanging in one direction, but that can be worked around by using cable hooks or other means.
