I think they're great value for money. If you need to store spirit fuel, I can't think of a better way of doing it. They're not heavy, don't leak and the design of the valve provides a confidence that you're storing the spirit safely. Although my bottle is the 1 litre size, it doesn't quite hold 1 litre of fuel if you keep the contents below the 'max line'. Maybe 0.8 or 0.9 litres is possible though. The bottle itself is made of high density Polyethylene and I couldn't see any reference to it being made of aluminium in the description, so I don't know why someone would down grade it for not being so. The safety valve is a two stage process. The black cap on top is twistable. Turn it anti-clockwise to open the valve. Then, when you're ready to dispense, simply push the cap down to release the fuel. When you release the cap, the fuel flow stops. The funnel is bi-directional, so either end will dispense the fuel (the other end then acting as a vent to allow smooth operation). Turn the cap clockwise to then completely seal the fuel in the bottle. This will allow the bottle to be stored horizontally, vertically or upside down, if you wish, without compromising the fuel. It's a great design. You might get some residual fuel in the funnel causing a little smell, but this will dissipate over time.
