Nice rubber coating, convenient cutouts for easy handling. Packaging was amazing - every weight plate came in an outer box, plus an inner box, plus wrapped in bubble wrap and a plastic bag. Who’s that thorough with packaging??Minor rubber smell at unboxing dissipated quickly.I’ve never said this about a set of exercise equipment but every time I walk by our workout room and see these weights, I think “dead sexy”.Edit 9/29/19: 10 months of near-daily use and these are still going strong. Each one was in a box within a box inside of plastic wrap inside of bubble wrap.
