It has laces and eyelets, no hooks it's velcro. I was going to purchase a second one at the office but too expensive! Thank God I'm done with wearing it but it was comfortable and so supportive when it was needed. It works well ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good brace for most *by D***S on March 10, 2020* We had to return this brace as there just wasn't enough support for my mom's post surgery ankle fracture. The speed laces are nice and this brace would work well for someone with a strain or sprain. It's not the best for someone that has hardware and extreme pronation which my mother has. It's good though for people with arthritis and people that need ankle support. It does fit inside a shoe so you can wear it with shoes but it is a snug fit (which is what you want anyway with an ankle injury). Quality of the product is good. The only negative is the return policy. It didn't affect this purchase as I returned within 7 days but two other products purchased were not able to be returned at 10 days so make sure if you have to return it you do so within 7 days.
