This one does everything I need it to, the whistle is so much more pleasant than the typical kettles I've gotten, it holds a LOT of water, and nothing has fallen apart or melted yet after months of use.The whistle is low-toned and musical, not shrill/sharp/high.My only problem with it is that the tea basket has to be left in to secure the lid.
