Maybe if you are a tween or a teen, but not for an adult who likes to carry her phone, reading glasses, lipstick, a mirror and your keys. I also have room for an energy bar so I don't over eat if I want. The size of this is PERFECT!!!!. They were so thorough that they added a hand strap if you don't want a shoulder bag. A drop shoulder chain for an upscale look and a thicker leather strap if you want to use it with a more casual look like jeans and a nice blouse. I have FINALLY found a bag that works for an adult.
