Works well. Charges my batteries quicker than in laptop. Charges both OEM and 3rd party batteries. Only took off half star for loose battery attachment plug...it falls off the battery very easily, and the cost. Got it very quickly.This was gotten as an alternative to having to get the charging port repaired on my laptop. If manufacturers don't wise up and quit with the unsupported charging ports guaranteed to break, I'm going to have to go with Apple, who uses magnetic attachment for the charge connector, which just falls off if knocked against instead of breaking off the mobo. But I digress...If you need options for your laptop (like no outlets near your seat in classes), multiple batteries and this charger may suit your needs better.

I had hopes this would be the perfect fix after the charging port I my laptop went bad.....I was wrong. This charged my battery, exactly twice, before going bad. The only up side was that I was able to back up some of my files on an external drive before the battery died again. Save your money.

After damaging the power input on my ASUS laptop I faced the choice of scrapping the computer or paying $250 to get the input jack welded to the motherboard and (hopefully) be able to recharge again. Instead I found this external battery charger which allows me to rotate batteries after charging them off the computer. I did have a problem after four months of use, and suddenly the charger stopped working. When I filed a warranty claim with Amazon the seller Top Power responded within hours with return instructions. After testing the charger and confirming that the input jack had failed I had a replacement within a couple of days. I am happily charging up the batteries off the computer and hopefully can get another year or so of use before I retire my tired laptop.

The charger never work. It doesn't stay in the battery and is easy to reverse polarity while adapting to the battery.

Barley used only in emergency's when extra battery needed, now i the charger shorted out ! This thing was a lot of money and went bad fast !

Does the job.The only problem I had, which was resolved with a new part received within 3 days, was the chord that connected the battery to the Power Charger had a bad wire connection inside the chord housing, that showed up after 3 months. If you moved the chord, you could hear a electrical shorting sound; the new chord resolved the issue free of charge!Thank You,chris

I bought this item. Since there is no light to indicated charge, how will I know the charge is complete?Is there a certain amount of time that it takes?There were no instructions included/
