Review: There GREAT...if u know what ur doing - These are not speakers for someone who is gonna just throw them in and hope they sound good u have to meticulously wire them set them up perfectly and they will outperform most, i have four in a jeep with two 1400 watt amps, u can hear me from about two blocks away, they flex alot when u have a good bass boosting amp and they drown out all the other sounds so i suggest buying a few tweeters with them i have mine on full frequency with 16db bass boost and theyll knock a cup of water sittin on my roof over, get em there cheap and great to play with but like i said it may take you a day or two to have them bumpin...do not be discouraged if they arent blasting the second u hook them up these babies need some tlc before they play for you but once u have em hooked theyll never stop
Review: Impressive Lows! - I purchased a pair of Pyle PLW10BL woofers to replace the stock woofers in my 7.2 surround system. The old speakers were rated at 300W each and the new Pyle speakers are rated at 600W each. Each speaker is powered independently by a pair of Triad power sub amps. I just installed these today and must say that I am rather impressed by the deep bass produced. When I installed the speakers, I used the existing theater mounting frames and simply swapped out the speakers. To my disappointment, the mounting frames are made of plastic and do not seem to handle the deep low frequencies produced by these speakers, so I am now on the hunt for some replacement mounting frames that are sturdier and will hold up to the abuse. Finally, the fit and finish is awesome. The blue cone looks good and the other frame components look sturdy. I would recommend these as a good replacement speaker.

**Q: i have some 10 in here but i think they are blown , are all 10's sub woofers ? Would i only need 1 sub and just two lt and 2 rt to make this work  . I**
A: they probably are blown my son blew his in a matter of a month.  i think you need 2 to make it work

**Q: What are the cubic inches required for the sub enclosure?**
A: If the enclosure is sealed, it doesn't really matter as long as the speaker fits.  If you are planning to port the enclosure, there are come specific rules and calculations you will need to consider.  I used these speakers in unsealed enclosures and I was not happy.  I put them into sealed enclosures and they are awesome!

**Q: what size hole do you need to mount these**
A: I have 10 inch speakers cut-outs so I would need a 12 inch cut-outs  to mount that speaker. Probably a new speaker box to mount a 12 inch speaker.

**Q: Can this speaker play as midrange**
A: No...it is voiced and designed to output low frequencies only

These are not speakers for someone who is gonna just throw them in and hope they sound good u have to meticulously wire them set them up perfectly and they will outperform most, i have four in a jeep with two 1400 watt amps, u can hear me from about two blocks away, they flex alot when u have a good bass boosting amp and they drown out all the other sounds so i suggest buying a few tweeters with them i have mine on full frequency with 16db bass boost and theyll knock a cup of water sittin on my roof over, get em there cheap and great to play with but like i said it may take you a day or two to have them bumpin...do not be discouraged if they arent blasting the second u hook them up these babies need some tlc before they play for you but once u have em hooked theyll never stop

I purchased a pair of Pyle PLW10BL woofers to replace the stock woofers in my 7.2 surround system. The old speakers were rated at 300W each and the new Pyle speakers are rated at 600W each. Each speaker is powered independently by a pair of Triad power sub amps. I just installed these today and must say that I am rather impressed by the deep bass produced. When I installed the speakers, I used the existing theater mounting frames and simply swapped out the speakers. To my disappointment, the mounting frames are made of plastic and do not seem to handle the deep low frequencies produced by these speakers, so I am now on the hunt for some replacement mounting frames that are sturdier and will hold up to the abuse. Finally, the fit and finish is awesome. The blue cone looks good and the other frame components look sturdy. I would recommend these as a good replacement speaker.

These speakers are complete crap. I figured I would give them a shot mainly because I am a tightwad and didn't want to spend a lot of money on some sub-woofers. I should have just bit the bullet and got a good set because these were a complete waste of what little money the cost and my time. Got the stupid things hooked up and they sounded great for about 5 minutes. After that it quit working completely. At first I figured I had a problem with my amp or maybe pulled a wire loose, but that was not the case. Was very disappointed with these speakers. Adding insult to injury, Pyle will warranty them for a service fee of $20.00. I ONLY PAID $25.00 FOR THEM. Do yourself a favor and just buy some good subs from the get go and save yourself the time. After these turds quit working, I just hooked up an old home theater sub I had and it will work until I can order me a GOOD sub.
