LOTS of parts, but in the main the instructions were clear in the main, but a little confusing as some diagrams were not identical representations of what you were looking at. I have assembled 2 other items of similar furniture recently, & I know the errors to avoid. A novice could do this but be ready to dedicate several hours to this.
