## Description

This attention-getting two-seater was engineered to be built from ONE bicycle, some PVC pipe, and a few miscellaneous parts using typical hand tools many people already have. Use this detailed account of my successes and failures to help you design your own bike. You can spend thousands on a four-wheel commercial bike or you can have the fun of building your own. Sure, you can find plans on the Internet, but the ones I found often required two identical bikes and expensive customized parts from a machine shop (and they still cost more than this book). I will show you how I made mine from a single bicycle I picked up at a yard sale for $10. You'll find many design and construction hints and suggestions along with 38 full-color pictures to guide you. If you are even thinking about attempting such a project, this book is for you.

Review: What a great idea! - The premise of the book is how to build a golf cart-like contraption out of an old bicycle and a load of PVC, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Having built a 6-wheeled custom critter wheelchair out of PVC, I know how friendly PVC is to work with, and having read this book I'm considering adapting these ideas to make something for myself. I don't need a two-seater or 2 sets of pedals, for instance. The pictures are nice and add an awful lot to the explanations given. VERY highly recommended!
Review: Buy it - I liked it but he was a little fuzzy on some details that probably would be clearer if you were assembling the bike at the same time as reading it. I did finally understand what the author meant and why he said it that way. I think he has a good and useful design. He admits it's over-built but I've seen other seemingly good designs in for sagging issues because they weren't over-built. I like the fact he has recycled (no pun intended) a used bike and built all the parts himself that he added to the used bike. I never thought of using a kid's bike to start with, which is a good idea. I have my own ideas on how to do the back end of the bike but the author did say his book was out there to inspire other designs as well as follow his if you want to. For the price of the e-book you can't pass it up.

### ⭐⭐ Hard to follow
*by A***S on April 29, 2015*

While the information is probably useful, finding it is difficult. This seems to be written in a "stream of consciousness" style, that leaves the reader often confused, or wondering why a topic was only partially explained. While I value what the author was trying to provide in this book, I wish it would have been proofed by someone more thoroughly, as much of the content is scattered throughout, in no discernable order.
