This was a question I initially had pre purchase and the vendor responded very quickly.I expect this will withstand many happy summers in the Greek islands!UPDATE. It's great in use. The sand falls off it and it washed well. I plan to gift this to friends and family who also like the beach! This would be great for a very fine sanded beach. We used it on a more stony beach which wasn't great.
