Waist pockets allow access to trouser pockets via baffle flap in the overall pockets, that's a nice consideration by the designers. If I was buying again I might consider a Large, but I expect this set will last a long time yet Review: Have used these for years great product. - These are nice thick flame resistant overalls. They last a good bit of time. I always have an issue with them however as someone from the Southern Hemisphere we tend to be chunky low profile people I have to get a 4XL size to fit across my shoulders (54 inches without any additional clothing). Because these are made for tall people with long torsos I have to cut about 10 inches off the bottom of the legs and the crutch is around my knees. I look like an orange teletubby. I wish they could come in a suitable shorter size with the wide shoulders however I have not managed to find a manufacturer in the UK that makes my size unless they are custom made.
